Ayyappan Temple

The Nanganallur Ayyappan Temple is located right behind the 32 feet Anjaneyar temple in Nanganallur. Very close to the famous Anjaneyar temple. The temple has Sree Ayappan along with Upadevadas. The temple opens at 5.30 AM regularly in the morning, starting with Ganapthi homam and followed by other Poojas as per the Kerala temple ritualistic methods. During Mandala time the timing changes for the season. During Mandala season devotees wear mala under the guidance of Guruswamy and initiate the viratham in the presence of Lord Ayyappa and also perform Bajhans, sarana gosham and Annadhanam. The temple has been built in the traditional way and still following the same pattern of tradition. Various offerings and poojas are listed separately.
